While the Old Grizzly sleeps, I can't help but giggle to myself over today's adventures. This evening my family witnessed the Old Grizzly in his natural habitat. He is a peaceful quite jovial bear unless provoked. She poked him.
He was in his happy place, ready for grub and warmth. We stood there waiting for my family to park in front of us. My father patiently waited for the leaving guests to vacate the parking space. Sure as I was standing there, this older woman attempts to whip into the space in front of my father, taking his waited for space. The bear growled, "NO! You're not doing that!"
I'm sure she was just as shocked at this big Old Grizzly growling at her as he stepped in front of her car to block her from securing the parking space. My father would have said nothing. He would have just drove back out into the road and remake the circle back into the parking lot. This is where we are today. People think they are more important than others and do not care how their behavior affects others. It's called entitlement.
People today feel entitled. They feel they deserve more or better than others. Well, my Old Grizzly said no and he meant it. It is time for us to all say no. Our children need to hear NO. Adults need to hear NO. And most importantly, our government needs to hear NO. The Old Grizzlys in America are waking up. My advice, don't poke the bears.
